Age awareness stampin' up!

Tonight I got round to this stampset, it is a photopolymer set which makes it cheaper than the rubber sets, but it still comes in the same packet as the clear mount sets so it all looks nice in my collection.

Here I used the 4 little candles and made a row by stamping next to each other, colours I used are Daffodil delight and Bermuda bay, the ribbon is bermuda bay taffeta ribbon. used colour coordinated designer series paper for the background.
Here I used the hexagon punch to cut out the DSP, such a quick simple card, but I think it looks great

I used bermuda bay and smoky slate ink, The ribbon is retired but Stampin' Up! have new ribbons that would suit this style card anyway.
I love the sentiment. Facebook is awesome for remembering birthdays ;)  had great fun with this set, and there are so many ways to use them.

Door signs continued.....

O.K this is my door sign for my eldest son, being 11 he doesn't want cutesy things sooooo, I got out my Gorgeous Grunge, red ink splattered over his name, and black cardstock background I think he will love it.

Gorgeous Grunge is a very versatile stampset great as a background or to add a little extra. Great for boys :)

Door sign for my baby Ethan, so so cute (like him)
How cute is this little guy, from the baby we've grown stampset. coloured with aqua painters using pool party and smoky slate. A little pearl embellishment for his little bow.

Aqua painters are my fave colouring tool, I just press my ink pad on an acrylic block and use the brush to paint the colour onto my stamped image.

New products

Well I ordered on the Thursday morning and it was on my door step Monday morning YAY!! and of course I had to have a play. This is what I came up with. A Name plate for my daughters door, She loves owls so this was perfect, used perfect plum cardstock and ink, used watercolour brush pens to colour and she loves it. so quick and easy, will be making one for my baby boy with the rabbit, will post pics when it is done. love the photopolymer alphabet stamps, great for personalizing cards etc and the numbers will come in handy too.

Also in my pack of goodies were these Cherry cobbler blenderbilities, I only got one pack because I wanted to see how they worked out. Will be putting more colours on my list of things I need.

I did go outside of the lines a little, but for my first ever try I am quite impressed with how easy they were to use. With a bit more practice they will be perfect. Stampset used here was fabulous florets (retired)

Regarding Dahlia

The happy birthday sentiment is from the Sassy Salutations Stampset. The Thankyou is from the Regarding Dahlia stampset. Strawberry slush card has the ruffle ribbon and dsp in the same colour. the other card is tempting turquoise and i used Candy dots in the same colour :)

Regarding Dahlia is a lovely versatile Stampset, Love Love Love the flower, you can have it super girly or with different colours make it bold and simple.

I used the Stampin Up! blender pens to colour the strawberry slush ink on the Dahlia, It gives a lovely dimensional affect. Stampin Up! are just about to release new Blendabilities pens, which are just as good if not better than Copics. will update in July about these great pens and how great they work. I don't own any yet...... YET!!
